Welcome February

....and welcome this warm beautiful day!  Another one, two in a row, with temps around 70 degrees today.  We're very fortunate to be having such a mild winter here in NC.

I planted my potted mums (from fall) in the ground today.  I was surprised of all the green leaves already. Perfect day for puttering in the garden!

Happy "Getting out there and planting mums" day! I love these milder temps we've had (NJ) too.

It is rainy and in the 50's here on my side of NC....

Met a friend for lunch and now I am making chicken soup.

How fun to be doing a bit of planting in January. I always save my mums too and then plant them in the ground. I have a few in the garage now waiting to get planted.

Oh, what gorgeous weather!
We were at just freezing today.
Your greenery makes me jealous!

I'm ready for Spring even though we haven't had much of a winter here in the Atlanta area. I'm thrilled that we haven't had any ice storms...knock wood.
Happy February!

Wouldn't it be lovely if it stayed this way? A friend of ours said that her daffodils were starting to pop up....hope not too much ~ snow will come (and will it!) and kill them off! Your mums look great....bet the dogs are lovin' this weather!!

Wow, you planted flowers already. How lovely that you can see touches of Spring already. We have cooler temperatures today, but this has been an amazing winter here in New England.

I love that photograph of the orchid and February's calendar.

Have a lucky weekend Donna. Lucky you with such mild temps. Nothing quite like that here but it is in the 40's and no snow planned, a victory for sure.
