Spring bliss

I love this time of year when warm weather comes and we can spend our days outside. Don't you?

I usually plant geraniums (because they're one of my favorite summer flowers, and I love them) and I put a big pot on the front porch and several in the back yard in pots.

This azalea looked beautiful outside the front of our house by the steps this morning. It looks like a bunch of white lace.

I like to cut azaleas and take them in the house. They last a long time and they're so plentiful.

I've cleaned the back porch (finally all that nasty pollen is gone, yea!!) and I've hung the ferns (I usually buy two every year for the screened-in porch).

I've fluffed the pillows.

And, now I'm looking forward to spending time on the back porch and, of course, lots of time in the garden.

Donna, everything looks so Springy! Your backporch looks like the perfect place for coffee and magazines. I love geraniums, too especially the deep red!

Can I come visit? Your front entry and your back porch look like the most wonderful places to enjoy nature. One of my favorite flowers is also the geranium...

Your garden is so beautiful. We can't really plant anything here til May 15th or a frost will come along and wipe it out. Our bulbs are beginning to bloom and I hope the temperatures will start warming up. Love your mourning doves. We have a couple in our neighborhood too. Mimi

Hi Donna, your house is looking lovely. Yes, I love Geraniums too, my favorite summer annual. I plant them in pots all up and down my porch and steps, in my backyard. I love how hardy and reliable they are...I have full sun back there and they love it and grow so beautifully there. Although, I have to wait till the end of the month to plant mine...enjoy your lovely flowers.

Donna,
Your home looks so charming and cozy. Your flowers are beautiful! I put out my birdbath in the flowerbed today and had to move my little garden teacup that I bought from you on Etsy because it was too close. I made the mistake of pulling it up by the cup and pulled the cup off. What type of glue did you use? I just want to get the same thing. Thanks!

Everything looks so lovely and springy! I wish all the pollen was gone! I think we have to wait another week or so and I wish it would rain to wash away the stuff!
