Snow!

What a surprise for North Carolina!

A beautiful blanket of snow.

Otis and Riley ventured out.....

but not very long.

We took a drive around town to do a few errands.

Driving past the mall there was a flock of sea gulls. They looked so pretty in the snow.

The nice thing about snow in the south is that it can be enjoyed for a day or two, and then it's gone.

Beautiful while it lasts!

Looks like Otis & Riley really enjoyed themselves.
Is the snow gone already?
We've been snow covered in NJ for weeks, great photo ops.

Nice pictures of an astonishing landscape!!!
Here, in Portugal, blizzards are also uncommon but lately there have been snow storms in some parts of the country creating the most incredible scenes.

Greetings from Portugal

Absolutely gorgeous seasonal pictures!
I know that snow is rare in parts of NC; enjoy it.;))
You have more snow than we up here in Scandinavia; I am almost a bit jealous.;)

I was so excited when snow was in the forecast, but we got nothing. I am enjoying your pictures especially the one of your house covered in snow. It looks so pretty & cozy. Also love the picture of Otis & Riley's pawprints in the snow.

It's beautiful Donna! We only got about an inch here in Hendersonville, but I was happy to see that!

Donna,
The snow is gorgeous! You should paint your house this way. What kind of vine is that around your doorway? I love it.

Cathie

Donna, this is a literal winter wonderland! And those babies -- they are just precious. Makes me miss our two Min Pins SO much. Hug Otis and Riley for me. :-)

Love how your birdbath looks covered in snow. All of your pictures are amazing. Thanks for sharing. We got the cold today sans the snow. Yours is much prettier and a lot more decorative! :-)

XO,

Sheila

Oh Donna, your pictures are beautiful! That is the best knowing it will be gone in a few days :-)

We have a covering of about 5 inches but again this year just too many ice storms.

I am ready for Spring!

Otis and Riley are so brave. Rudi the doxie refuses to venture out when the weather is anything less than perfect.
