Fall

Today was one of those beautiful fall days.

A great day to take Otis and Riley for a walk, a great day to do a bit of shopping and a great day to work in the yard.

I picked up a pumpkin while I was out and about this morning. Then after lunch I mowed the grass. The yard is finally looking better, after all the flooding.

In fact, the butterfly bush is actually standing up now.

I put orange candles in the candelabra on the patio.

And I must say my flowers are looking prettier now than in the summer. Look at the geraniums.

Impatiens too~

And here's a bit of fall color.

Isn't fall such a wonderful time of year!

Hi Donna!
I love fall! It's getting cooler here and my Zoe & Gur don't seem to like it. They want to run back indoors to cuddle up and get warm! I really enjoy the cool weather and the leaves turning colors.
I've been catching up and really enjoyed your cottage photos, beautiful! I liked the preservation craft also, great idea!
have a great weekend!
Hugs, Sherry

Good morning, Donna...your flowers and lawn are looking great. It is just amazing how a good rain makes every thing look so wonderful. Since we've had such good rains out here in West Texas, the lawns are all green green green. I still have a few roses but the rest of my blooms are gone. :O(
Hope your weekend is great!
love, bj

It was so cool this morning....46 degrees.... that we actually had to put the heat on for a bit to take the chill off the house. It was actually kind of nice :-)

Hi Donna, We are having one of those glorious days today too. I picked up my pumpkins yesterday too and made a vignette in the front yard although the only person that will see it is the FedEx guy and the mail lady. :) Have a great weekend. ~ Lynn

Beautiful! We are growing pumpkins this year, but they haven't turned completely orange yet. I love the candelabra hanging outside! Please stop by my blog when you have a moment.
