Holidays

With Thanksgiving behind us, we now look forward to the Christmas holiday, but before we move on to all the frenzy, I want to reflect on the wonderful Thanksgiving we had this year with our family in Pennsylvania and also the fact that Galen and I.....
held our granddaughter (from NY) for the very first time.
What a joy she is and we just couldn't get enough of her....
our little Esmé Catalina.
On Thanksgiving day we ate a big delicious dinner, played cards, took a walk and enjoyed catching up with family.
Later in the week we enjoyed Lancaster City Market (mmmm, woopie pies and sticky buns!) and drove around the Amish countryside.  No matter how often I've seen them, I still love the horse and buggies.

Amy, Bruno and Esmé at the downtown Lancaster square.

It was good to see everyone and so hard to leave.

Oh, and Otis and Riley enjoyed the trip...

but they were glad to get home.

Awww, she sure is a cutie pie and what a beautiful head of hair!
I can't think of a nicer way to spend Thanksgiving~ with family and a sweet little baby in your arms.
Great photos of your time together.
I've always wanted to visit Lancaster, PA. It looks so peaceful and pretty there.

What a beautiful time for you and your family. Does that baby Esme' have some hair or WHAT??? Just adorable. :D And my precious 'boys'---do hug them up for me. :) I'm so happy that you all had such a lovely time. Hugs of love and light to you, sugar.

How nice to meet up with everyone for Thanksgiving, and get to hold Esme for the first time. She's adorable, and I love her hair.
I can imagine how hard it was to leave. Soon you will all be sharing her first Christmas, it will be here before you know it!
hugs

What a sweet wee granddaughter - and what a thrill it must have been for you to hold her for the first time.
I love that part of your country too - it looks like you had a beautiful day out.

How nice Donna! Sweet baby Esme. I'm in England for the holidays and my grand baby girls are in Canada so I'll miss them. I'm checking FB for photos though. How are you feeling now? Hope much better. Lots of love from me to you. :)
