Chemo # 6 coming up

Thursday is chemo # 6.  After this one only 2 more.
Oh, I just can't wait until I can say "this is my last one."  I am doing my best to stay strong and positive.  I have neuropathy now, (numbness and tingling in my fingers and feet).  My fingernails are lifting, and I will probably lose my nails altogether (fingernails and maybe even toenails).
I am told they grow back.  Same as your hair.
(sigh)

I am thankful for all my good days and having some energy.  The garden has kept me busy pruning and weeding after large amounts of rain the past few days.  I am enjoying the sunshine.

It seems funny sitting on the back porch without my coffee.  I haven't had a cup of coffee in a very long time.

Tomorrow Otis and Riley will visit the groomer to have their nails cut and then we will stop by the park so they can run.

It's hard to believe that Memorial Day weekend is here already.
I hope you all enjoy it, and....

I will be back later.

Whoa, number six. I'm so proud of you. You're going to make it to a triumphant end. They might give you a celebratory certificate when you finish.

Sending love and prayers.♥

This post brought to you by the number 6!

I will be interested to learn of your opinion of this therapy once you're all finished and had some time to tally the ledger. I wonder if your opinion then will be much different than your opinion now.

PS...glad you're staying away from coffee. Have you ever smelled the breath of a coffee drinker? Just sayin'...

This time next year you'll be as good as new. Maybe better. Prayers are still coming your way. Mimi

With all the craziness of wedding prep I'm just not getting to the computer, but I check to see if you've posted, as you are on my mind. I'm glad to hear that you are closer to the end of treatment than to the start! All the trials will be worth it - I just know it. My dear friend who is going through the same time as you is hoping that her fine, straight hair will grow in curly!

It will be wonderful when you can say "this is my last one" and it won't be long now.

Enjoy your time at the park tomorrow with the guys.
Sending healing thoughts and hugs your way.

You can make it Donna. The worst is behind you! My sister is suffering from neuropathy right now too. Her's is from degenertive disc disease in her back (so they say). She says it is very painful.

God be with you!

The end of these treatments is in sight---just tie another knot and hang in there. I know that all three of the males in your house are taking really good care of you. :) Sending hugs and prayers on Angels' wings.

Donna,

I just stopped by to say hello, and I feel so terrible. I didn't know. Chemo is so hard, but the ending is terrific. My friend Judy recovered beautifully. You know what? Her hair grew back even more beautiful than before. She is so strong and vibrant now, you would hardly know what she had endured with Chemo.

I will send my prayers to you today.
