Gather some berries from your back yard and put them in a hanging wicker basket. I picked these
nandina berries which capture all the beautiful colors of fall ~ red, orange, gold, brown and green.
Hang this simple but lovely fall basket on your door to say "Welcome".
Berry simple!

I knew I should have planted that Nandina bush 2 years ago. I will have to settle for rosehips!
Hey Donna,
I just realized it was a year ago this week that I first started reading your blog. I've enjoyed checking in on you and the boys every day since.
"Berry" beautiful~~~
Hi Donna!
How pretty...wish I had some of those berries but I'm sure I can come up with something out here in the country. I hope your weather has been good so far this September. Have a great weekend!
Maura :)
Donna, those berries look gorgeous in that basket! Good job!! Enjoy your weekend!
Berry simple and berry pretty. I love the berries on the nandina bushes. Thanks for the good idea.
Your basket looks great and I love your use of Nandina berries. I have several old bushes that produce huge quantities of berries. I usually wait till Christmas to pick them but yours look so pretty for Fall. I may just copy your idea. :)
I'm going to look for a flat back door basket like yours. Mine isn't flat and wobbles a bit when the door opens and closes.
Thanks for a great idea.

Perfect fall decor, at nature's best.

Donna, that is so darn cute - leave it to you :) Guess we'll have to plant a berry tree...of course, the squirls would most likely get into it - lol!!
Have a loveley weekend!

I love your fall berry basket Donna. You are way ahead of me, I'm still on summer. Have a lovely fall weekend. Hope the cooler weather made it your way.

Happy September, Donna! I love your berries; alas NOTHING in my yard is big enough to have clusters of berries yet, so I'm green, absolutely green with envy over yours'! :D I've been away (imagine that---I NEVER leave home!!--) for 10 days visiting with a sister and then came home yucky sick. Still trying to kick this URI crud. I've missed 'visiting' with you and the boys. :)
Hey Donna, Your simple berries and basket is a sweet Fall decoration! You always have such cute ideas!
Just gorgeous! My Nandina's don't have berries yet.

Beautiful Donna!!
I'm in Ruidoso, NM this week and won't return to central Texas until Friday... I'm playing catch-up on my IPad!
