A "berry" simple fall decoration

Gather some berries from your back yard and put them in a hanging wicker basket. I picked these nandina berries which capture all the beautiful colors of fall ~ red, orange, gold, brown and green.

Hang this simple but lovely fall basket on your door to say "Welcome".

Finding color in the back yard

I still have some flowers blooming in the back yard even though it's the end of November. The pansies will bloom all winter into spring.

The leaves on the crape myrtle are gorgeous right now.

I love having color all year long, whether it be flowers or berries,

or leaves.

This geranium is by the front door. Bright and cheery to welcome visitors!

Do you have color in your yard?

The American Beautyberry....

...is an absolute beauty this time of year.

This tall weeping deciduous shrub bears bright purple fruit or berries that grow in clusters on long arching branches.
I planted this shrub about ten years ago in the front yard beside the driveway. It faces south and loves the full sun. Every fall I look forward to it's beautiful show of glossy iridescent-purple berries.

It makes a pretty fall bouquet.
