Double the size

Every spring I take my houseplants outside to give them a boost. It seems they grow twice the size with all the fresh air, natural light and rain water.

The spider plant that my neighbor gave me, which was a spider plant baby, is now loaded with new babies. The snake plant above has grown so much it's now almost 4 feet tall!

A small shoot from a Christmas cactus has now grown strong and healthy and is twice the size as when I took it outside.

And my philodendron setting on the back porch loves the summer weather as it puts out a bunch of new leaves.

Give your plants a summer vacation and let them enjoy the outdoors!

I'm terrible with house plants. I can garden like there's no tomorrow outside, but tend to kill all indoor plants. Yours look fabulous!

Funny. My outdoor plants might enjoy the relief coming inside would bring them. It's hot!

Your houseplants look very healthy. I always put my Christmas cactus outside and it does seem to do well.

Hi Donna, Good advice. I wish I could grow house plants, but they never make it. One was almost dead (again) and it is now thriving outside for the summer.
