It's the little things
...that sometimes make us the happiest,
like a good cup of coffee in our favorite mug,
early morning sunshine after a rain storm,
.....and spending time with our grand kids.
We had our granddaughter spend a few days with us this week. She's not so little anymore, in fact, she seems to grow taller each time we see her. Just having her around and enjoying simple things like playing board games and sewing a pillow, made me realize how much fun can be had in little things. And what a joy seeing her smiling face each morning.

Life is good. Thank you for sharing your joy.♥
Very nice post and so, so true!
I remember sewing on my Grandmother's sewing machine. A memory I will never forget along with dressing up in her clothes and picking berries along the path to her house. It is the sweet simple things that you always remember enjoying the most!
You are so right, it is the little things. I think the big expensive presents and the vacations to Disney or whatever are not what children remember, but the one on one time.
Reading your post made me happy! I'm glad I started the day reading it...

It is the little things that mean so much and hard to realize at times as time passes so quickly. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hi,
Thank you for your sweet comment welcoming me home from France.
I totally agree with you that it is the little things that make life worth living...and bring us the greatest joy. How wonderful that you are teaching your granddaughter to sew ~ a life time skill.
