An easy centerpiece

Simple and easy.

Bring in some evergreens and berries and place in a pretty vase or pitcher. I put these in an old silver pitcher that was a wedding present, old and tarnished, but I love it.

Today I spent the day shopping with Galen ~ need I say more...(smile).

Yesterday I baked more cookies (as if the hundreds of cookies we baked last Saturday weren't enough). Ha! I'm enjoying it, and I tend to give most of the cookies away as gifts. So the baking continues.....

Tonight, a warm fire and a good book.

Enjoy your weekend!

A very pretty arrangement. I'm hoping to snip some nandina berries to bring in.
Your kitchen looks like such a cozy room to be in. I was baking cookies again today too. The fire and a good book sounds like a perfect way to wrap up the day.

Love the tarnished silver as a vase. I baked more cookies today for my son's mission trip. I love cookie baking during the holidays!

That pitcher with the greenery and berries is so lovely, Donna! I have only made ONE batch of cookies...I know, I know, I'm running out of TIME but I'm hurrying and scurrying fast as I can go. :) Been in the sewing 'stewdio'--messes EVERYWHERE LOL but hey I'm happy, so that's what counts, right? Would love to be there at your beautiful place right now tho. :) BTW, do the 'boys' get to taste the cookies/dough? My Dewey and Badger loved cookie baking time. :D Hugs, Angie

So pretty and love the smell of fresh evergreens. Your stockings are adorable. Hope Santa will fill them to the brim. What a fun way to do Christmas baking. Always more fun when you're baking with friends and family. Have a great week. Mimi
