I really don't have any flowers bloom right now except my bright red hanging geranium! It is gorgeous! I keep thinking it is a cardinal. The colors in your garden are just gorgeous!
I'm with you on enjoying the colors and flowers all year here in NC. We couldn't do that in Michigan. Yours are all looking nice and I love your birdhouse too. Having just returned from vacation I haven't had a chance to get out there and look around at what's blooming. However, the first thing I noticed this morning is how beautiful the crape myrtles are. We loved being surrounded by tropical flowers for the last two weeks, but the fall colors here have a beauty all their own.
Your fall photographs are lovely. Believe it or not - I still have roses blooming - we have had such crazy warm weather this fall my flowers are all mixed up and are popping out all over - even my hydrangeas have buds!!! I love the photos of Otis and Riley - they are my favorite blog pups. Wishing you and your family a Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving. Erin
Yes I do still have some color in my garden - the last roses are in their flush of autumn bloom and the camellias will soon start blooming. I try to plant winter annuals too...mainly snapdragons, iceland poppies and pansies. For good or for worse there is little garden down time in Southern California. (-: Your garden looks lovely.
Your flowers are looking great and I love the birdhouses. We had a couple of hard frosts in a row and that took care of our flowers for this year. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Donna, your flowers are still blooming...you lucky girl, mine are long gone. Love your birdhouses. I hope you and your husband have a wonderful turkey day with your family.
All the color is gone from my back yard. We have such harsh winters and I have to store everything until spring. I've already cut back all the flowers and it now looks like a blank canvas. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Blessings, Catherine
I do have color in my yard. But we're due for cold weather tomorrow, so don't know how long it will last. My crepe myrtles have lovely leaves now too. Quickly blowing to the ground! Brenda
