Sloshing in the rain

Otis and Riley are outside today wading around in the puddles. Our back yard looks like a lake!

Sloshing around in the rain....

and I'm sloshing around in my garden clogs.

We've had 7-1/2 plus inches so far since Sunday. Still raining....

and more rain tomorrow.

I was happy to see the daisies blooming. A bright little spot in this gray day.

I think that folks should carry bright umbrellas in the rain...
to smile into the sullen sky and make it glad again.

Wow! You are getting a lot more rain than we are. It rained all day Sun and Mon here, then Tuesday it was beautiful. It started raining here again about an hour ago.
Hugs,
Penny

We've been getting alot of rain too Donna! Sorry about your backyard "lake"! We really need the rain but does it all have to come at one time-LOL!!!

We're getting rain here too, but I don't think we've had as much as you. After all those weeks of heat and no rain, I am rather enjoying this and I know that my recently seeded grass is too.
Otis and Riley look so cute out there.

The rain looks lovely! We have still been above normal temps. Next week they say we will be in the 90's I can't wait!

You're getting oodles and oodles of rain and we're still getting oodles and oodles of heat! It was so hot outside today that I haven't gone out once!

I'd love a little rain to come our way!

That's a lot of rain! We've gotten steady rains, but no real downpours. Just the right amount for giving the trees a good drink and no major flooding.

Otis and Riley need some little Wellies! Of course if it keeps raining they will be swimming with those short little legs.

Wow, Donna, that is a LOT of rain!!! A deluge!! Those pups are so cute...Dewey absolutely HATED having to go potty in the rain OR snow. He would always 'tiptoe' and make a mad dash back to the porch. I miss those two, altho my current two keep me on my toes. :D Enjoy them!

Love your adorable lady with the umbrella Donna. My yard looks just like yours, we are getting so much rain and even have flood conditions here in NY. Hopefully this weekend will dry out a bit for both of us.

Whew all that rain. Shame you can't send some our way, our flowers would sure love it. Have a wonderful day.

I am so loving every drop of this rain. We were pretty desperate!

The pear trays you painted are gorgeous. Will you be doing more?

We are hearing about the flooding back east as we sit in the yard with temps in the 90's and we've been dry as a bone for a month. We'd like a little rain too please. Mimi
