Windchimes and garden art

One of my favorite things to enjoy during the summer are windchimes and garden art.

I love the sound of windchimes softly blowing in a summer breeze. This one below that hangs by our back porch reminds me of distant church bells chiming ~ so soothing and tranquil.

This one made of kitchen utensils hangs outside my kitchen window. It makes a soft tinkling sound.
Do you see the mourning dove nest? I watched her every day until she had her two sweet babies and finally coaxed them out into the big world.

Hey diddle diddle, the cat and the fiddle, the cow jumped over the moon ~ a fun windchime that hangs back near the vegetable garden.

This is my newest piece of garden art. I found her in the trash on the weekend. Her legs were broken off but she looks fine in the liriope grass.

A whimsical ball on the front porch that I made. I love how it sparkles when the sun hits it.

And one of my whimsical garden art tea cups.

Outdoor spaces should be filled with things you love and things that make you happy.
Enjoy your day!
Donna

Your post was the perfect read as I sit here sipping iced tea after a morning spent gardening. I love windchimes and garden art too. You have such pretty things placed tastefully around your garden. So glad you shared them today.

Love garden art and windchimes.
You do it very gracefully of course.
Plan on making a windchime of my own with old ones that I saved...we'll see.

Donna, Your post today was full of beauty and southern charm...
I have a question for you...
If I order a couple of things from your etsy store, when would you ship them...I am in the mountains this week through the weekend and wondered if I had time to get them up here...?
thanks,
Nancy

Each one is wonderful, and I can see why they make you smile.

My husband and I love wind chimes and fun things in our yard. I have my eye on a flamingo at the Import store at NC State Farmer's Market.

Lovely windchimes! I do not have any, I am worried about bothering my neighbours with them, but I sure would love some myself.;))
