You know.......... here at Mourning Dove Cottage, we love the birds....
we love to watch them,
and feed them,
and make sure they have lots of water.
Well, I was very surprised a few days ago when I noticed that my birdbath had fallen and broken.
It broke my heart.
But,
my dearest hubby came to the rescue and has repaired it for me (he knew how much it meant to me and how much I loved that birdbath).
So......
I have a surprise to show you.
Not yet, I'm still working on it.
I'll show you the birdbath in a few days.

Are you going to mosaic it? That was my first thought. I have always wanted to do that, but it seems I always sell my mosaics instead of keeping them....
Hugs,
Penny
That is lovely. I love to see pictures of your garden, they are my favorite as this is a dreamy spot: so full of growth, so very green and luscious and so tranquil. I hope I will have a garden like this one day.;)
Have a lovely day dear Donna,
xoxo
Donna, you have such a beautiful place. I do love the birds and watching their antics. So glad your hubby was able to mend the birdbath! I keep looking at your adorable cup/saucer feeders...one of these days.... :) Bayley and Marlee send greetings to Otis and Riley. :)
Your photos are so pretty and I can tell that the birds are well taken care of at your house. I can't wait to see what you have done with your broken birdbath.
Like Penny I wonder if you have mosaiced (is that a word!)it?
I looking forward to seeing what you have done.
