oh....don't you know it! You should see pumpkins on the porch during the fall!! We've had some success with peppermint oil soaked on cotton balls & putting them in the plants....might want to give it a try!
They are digging for nuts.;) Annoying it is, but they are so cute. I remember how many would just run around the Duke campus all the time.;)To see a squirrel here is a rarity.:) xo
No, ours hang out under our squirrel proof feeder and scavange for leftover seeds tossed down by the birds.
I know alot of people have a problem when planting spring bulbs. The squirrels I guess dig them up. I am going to plant bulbs this fall...hope that doesn't happen to me! Hugs, Penny
No, thank goodness! Critters sure can mess up things can't they!
Donna, I'm going to be sending you a picture of my friend's dog Sydney that just had to be put down. I'd love to give our friends a Sydney painting from you. The same size as my others is fine. Same price?
Squirrels are just evil little animals as far as I'm concerned! The eat all my bird seed and they ruined the gazebo bird feeder my Dad made me! I hope you get rid of them and they stop digging in your plants!
I have had great sucess in keeping the squirrels out of my pots by covering the dirt with pine cones-for some reason that stops them- and it really doesn't look too bad.
yes....they drive me nuts@@ and apparently bunnys do the same, my hubby took a pic of a bunny sitting IN a flower pot of mine the other morning...and here all along i was just cursing the squirrels!

Oddly enough, they don't dig in mine. Maybe it's because of the dogs.

That looks like a very familiar sight.
