Quiet time

A chilly morning calls for time to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee and some of my favorite magazines. Do you keep favorite magazines that you love and just can't seem to throw away? (A great hiding place is under the sofa.)

Otis and Riley like to nap by my side when I'm reading. Riley is here....and Otis is up on the back of the couch behind my head. Always nearby.

I like to paint on days when it's too chilly to be in the garden, and today was one of those days. I finished painting a wooden rooster that hubby made and carved in the woodshop.
Ready to go in my etsy shop.

Be sure to check out my cool GaRden ARt teacups and teapots in my shop too!

You and your hubby are very talented, Donna. I am jealous.

My 2 doxies are always laying on either side of me when I sit down, they are great companions.

my stack of magazines next to the couch keeps getting higher and higher...if I hide them under the couch it would be 4 feet off the ground...I am a magazine junkie...love the rooster!

I love Roosters so much! Your hubby creates like mine, in wood! Why is it that dogs like to be behind our heads? Our Mini-Pin always does that. He lives with my sis-in-law now but we get to see him 3 mos. a year when they are camping here. Have a glorious Sunday Donna! hugs, Kerrie

Your rooster is so cute and I love all your yard art. I am a big coffee lover myself. I enjoy quiet mornings in the porch swing listening to all the birds.
Have a great day ;-)

I always enjoy a bit of quiet time. In fact, I just got up from reading to do a bit of blogging :-)
While I was reading Peanut was curled up on my lap.

You and your husband are so talented. The rooster is great!

Oh my goodness, Riley could be my Dewey !!!! Took my breath away, he looks so much like him. Aren't they the most adorable furbabies!! :) And I love the tip about where to 'stash' the magazines. :D
