It's that time of year again to do some pruning in the garden and to cut back the lirope (in our zone anyway). So this weekend I was able to spend some time in the garden since it was quite nice outside.
Do you see this furry little head right here? That's Riley. He likes to play and hide in the lirope.
Sorry, Riley. I have to cut it back. You'll just have to wait until it grows tall again.
Today we are inside. It's cold and raining and a chance of snow in the forecast. Tonight we'll have a cozy fire and curl up on the sofa,
and hope that spring is not too far off.

They are so cute! I can't believe it's snowing here today! This has been the longest winter ever. Of course some fruit trees I ordered were delivered last night! I'm hoping I'll be able to do a bit of gardening this weekend. Have to cut back my liriope too.

Like you, I enjoyed some garden time over the weekend. Today I have been watching the snowflakes fly. The good news is that I heard we may hit 60 by the weekend. Now wouldn't that be nice? :)
Love your pictures of the two sweeties on the back of the couch. Soo cute.
Your sweet dogs look so cute lined up end to end on the back of the sofa! I'm ready to get my hands in the dirt too.
Hugs,
Cathie
I just consulted the crystal ball: more fires are in your future... until this next round of snow passes anyway! Stay warm!
It's been in the low 50's here. We've been puttering outside a little too. Feels so good after such a loooong winter. Mimi
Beautiful pictures with so much sunshine!
I too should be out in my garden, cutting back my clematis. It should have been done in February, but it is just not possible with all that snow.;)

I agree with the others who said it is the longest winter ever! I hate being inside all the time. Love all the adventures of Otis and Riley, they are so sweet. Luv, Kerrie
Sunshine One day and Snow, the next...goodness. It's suppose to be 64 here today. We'll see if it makes it.
Happy day sweetie!

We're so dreaming of that!!
Love your goodwill finds :)
I always love seeing the boys butted up against each other on the couch...
I went into my courtyard over the weekend to cut back my plants too. Everything looks so much better! What a cutie that Riley is (oh and you too Otis!!).
What an adorable post! :D
