A chest of many colors

There is this chest in the bedroom that has been painted many colors...

It was once deep red, then sage green, and then white.

Guess what color it is now? A warm golden mustard (it's actually called French Mustard). I took out all the drawers last week, put them on the dining room table and started painting. Then I finished the chest right where it was in the bedroom. Very easy.

I love the new color.

That's what I love about paint...it's so easy to change and if you don't like it, you can change it again.
I'm thinking painted flowers on the front of the drawers...that might be nice.

Turned out nice. I love painted furniture, nothing like finding a great old piece and bringing it back to life with a bright new color! Check out a blog called "Red shoes" it is on my sidebar for some inspiration ;-)

It looks beautiful! I really like that warm yellow. That's the great thing about paint - being able to change things so easily.

Painted flowers on the front would be very pretty and would look great on the mustard color you chose.
