After the rain

Did you ever notice how everything sparkles in the morning sun after a rain?

The garden was beautiful this morning. Like little diamonds everywhere.

The air smells fresh.

Another perfect morning here at mourning dove cottage with the sun shining bright, the plants quenching their thirst and the birds chirping away in the wet treetops.

We are having our granddaughter, Maddie, come to stay with us for the next two days so I will be busy playing.

Enjoy your day!

I love how much more beautiful things are after a really good rain - the dust settles and things look refreshed!
Hope you have a wonderful week.
