A little bit of a change

Just want to let you know.....

I've decided to incorporate "Mourning Dove Cottage" into my blog name. Actually, I wanted to change my blog name to just Mourning Dove Cottage, if you remember here, but I would have lost my old blog, didn't want to do that. I was changing settings last evening and almost had heart failure when I thought I lost Donna's Art!

So, without changing all my settings and losing Donna's Art, I'm just adding to it. Donna's Art.....living artfully and enjoying simple pleasures here at Mourning Dove Cottage. (because this is where the dove live)

Just wanted you to know. Enjoy your day!

Why would you have lost your blog? All you have to do is:

1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click on Settings
3. See TITLE? Type in your New name
4. Go to the bottom of the page and hit Save.
5. Now click on View Blog.

There you are! Easy! You would loose things if you change your email address..

Happy day to you!hughugs

Like it, Donna! I would have freaked if I had come on here to find you, and you were missing!!! Glad you didn't delete your blog by accident. Sounds like something I would do.

I still haven't had a chance to get to the bank to get an MO for those birds, but I will this week. Every time I pick up my purse to go, it starts raining. I will get there, though. Don't give up on me! Today is Mr. Magpie's birthday, and I am up to my eyeballs in that. But tomorrow looms promising. :-)

XO,

Sheila... who is VERY excited about the promise of *shiny* blue birds! :-)

I love it! I think your Mourning Doves were little messengers because Donna's Art at Mourning Dove Cottage seems so perfect for you! :-)

Oh Donna I love that name. I like that I was your blogging buddy when you created this new name. It makes me feel part of your evolution. I will never forget that photo, I had never seen a baby mourning dove before.

You can change the name without changing the url... many people's blogs and urls are NOT the same... your new name is good... "Donna's Art at Mourning Dove Cottage" maybe down the road you can take off Donna's Art or not... I must change it in my favorites!

I love your new blog name, Bonna! There is a Morning Dove couple that lives in my backyard and softly coo to me all day.

I often think I should change my blog's name to make it more user friendly as I never thought I'd have so many blog friends when I began it -- but I'd still have the same URL unless I cahnged blog providers, so I guess I might as well keep my funny name.
