Anticipation

No matter how long the winter, spring is sure to follow. ~Proverb

Walking through the garden you can see signs of spring.

I found a tiny little blue violet.

Daffodils, daylilies, hyacinths and black-eyed susans are popping up out of the cold ground.

And the bearded iris that I planted in a new bed seems to be happy where I planted them.

The joy of spring is just around the corner.

Donna, that is incredible! And I thought that my plants were impatient.;))
I do wish that spring was just around the corner here in Scandinavia; unfortunately we have to wait until April.;))
Do enjoy your sign of spring.;))

Beautiful. There is something so great about that first touch of green. Fresh and pure.

I was outside looking in our yard yesterday, but I didn't find anything. I'm hope that I will see green peeking at me soon.

Being from PA, you surely know that it is much too soon for us northerners to look for signs of spring. But is certainly nice to anticipate its arrival.

Lucky you. I'm afraid spring won't come to northern Utah til March. For some reason I'm wanting it to hurry this year. Mimi

I think I need to take a walk around my yard. I can't believe how far along your bulbs are. It won't be long now.

Love seeing signs of spring! We have had 127 inches of snow with more in the forecast! No signs of spring here! Jean

We don't have those signs here in Western NC yet, but I have camellia buds as big as a thumb. I can't wait!

Hi Donna
I have lots of things sprouting in the garden, even some daffodils that are budding. I wonder how they will fare in the next few days with this cold weather we are getting?
I love it that there are signs of spring in January
Hugs, Rhondi

You lucky lady!
I hope this mass of Arctic air doesn't do the plants any harm, it looks like it's sweeping right down to NC.
It will be May before I see my spring flowers, and bulbs.
I shall come here and enjoy yours..!
hugs
