September

September is here already ~ where did summer go?

"By all these lovely tokens
September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."

I love that verse, and I wasn't familiar with it. It puts such a great perspective on the month.

It came fast didn't it? I love Fall so very much though. I love your creative craft too.

Scottish Oats are so good Donna. You have to give them a try. They are not rolled oats. They have been steel cut. So good.

Have a great day Donna.

Time is flying by. I can't believe how fast. The weather is definitely changing. This week 20 degrees colder than last week. Can winter be far behind? Oh, sorry. Mimi

Summer definitely flew by, but I am ready for cooler weather.

Love your welcome sign and the poem too.

Hi Donna

I am still looking for August! Where did it go? At least we are still having nice weather!

Lovely quote!

Happy Autumn, Donna! I LOVE decorating for fall, but I'm also wondering where in the world summer went. Our PA weather feels very much like summer, though. Perhaps the cornstalks will have to wait for a little while.

Hi Donna, did you make this one, I know you make so many wonderful garden signs and birdhouses. I saw my first mums, pumpkins and a few leaves changing already. Summer went by so quickly. Karen

I'm so excited that autumn's on it's way even if it does mean giving up my garden for several months. Cute pumpkins!

Hi Donna!
Nice post! Love those pumpkins.
I've been catching up on visits and your catepillar post was wonderful! They are art in them selves aren't they? Looks like someone painted on them.
Summer has wizzed by! Your 2 paintings are lovely too!
Hugs, Sherry
