Beautiful

This is the very last bloom hanging on my Trumpet Vine that is growing up and over the pergola on the patio. The hummingbirds love the flowers and we had several mourning dove nesting in the woody vine and foliage this spring. Aren't the bright orange flowers beautiful!

And speaking of beautiful, Heidi Ann over at foxgloves, fabricandfolly, who has the most beautiful blog, has given me the Kreativ Blogger award. Thank you, Heidi Ann! How sweet of you to pass this on to me!

Now I must name 6 Things That Make Me Happy.....

1. Gardening, of course.
2. Painting
3. Otis and Riley
4. My family
5. Starbucks coffee
6. Sunshine

I would like to pass this award on to Ruth at artfulcreations.

Have a happy day!

What a beautiful flower. Do the vines die back in the winter? I am looking for a flowering vine that will do better than my clematis. I will have to do some research on the Trumpet Vine.

Congrats on the award :-)
Hugs,
Penny

Thank you so much Donna, what a very sweet and thoughtful award. I'm honored that you passed it on to me.

I used to have a Trumpet vine and I loved it, such gorgeous flowers and I love the foliage, the way it creeps and climbs everywhere. Yours is lovely.

Hi Donna, I have a wild trumpet vine that grows up a tree at the lake edge. You can watch the hummingbirds fly back and forth between that and the feeder on my deck. The hummingbirds leave my place around Labor Day and I didn't see them today. ~

Such a beautiful color. I am trying to decide which vines I want to plant to climb up and over our garage door opening. The trumpet vine is definitely a possibility. Mimi

That sure is a beautiful flower and I can see how hummingbirds would be attracted to it.

Congratulations on your award.
