Hannah

Tropical Storm Hannah has come and gone and, thank heavens, it wasn't near as bad as what we thought it might be. We had heavy rains but not a lot of wind. It seemed to take its course to the west and on to the north. We were lucky.

Saturday morning after the storm we went out for breakfast and I took a few pictures. It was very gray and VERY HUMID!
You can see some debris on the road from the trees.

Some leaves and branches on the patio. The yard was a bit soggy.

And then the sun came out! What a welcoming site!

Now our focus goes to Hurricane Ike. We hope and pray for the best.

These shots are quite lovely, and I can only say that now that you've made it safely through Hannah. Thoughts and well-wishes for Ike.

Glad you didn't get much wind! We even got alot of rain here in PA .... almost 5 inches!

It has still been warm but that is supposed to change mid week. Yay!

Glad to hear you made it through Hannah safely. My husband was supposed to travel to Miami this week, but because of Ike he changed his plans. We'll keep our fingers crossed.

Hugs,
Kim

Donna, we had about the same over here. The rain gauges showed almost six inches.

Our neighbor did lose a tree, and it is partially in our back yard.

Thank goodness we were all so blessed.

It's funny, we live in the same state and we didn't get touched by Hannah at all! I have a son in Texas...so I am watching Ike...

Glad Hanna wasn't too much of a problem for you, Donna. I'll be praying that Ike behaves himself also.

My sister in law and her family were recently stationed in North Carolina. Coming from the midwest I'm sure she's pretty nervous about the hurricane season.
