Fall flowers

It's time for mums and some fall decorating.

I picked up a few mums at the garden center the other day.

When I got them home I thought I'd put them in some pretty pots.

Hmmmm, decisions, decisions.

This one I put by the back door.

This one looks pretty on the screened in porch.

One for the table in the garden.

And one for the table on the patio.

I also stopped at Goodwill after going to the garden center and look what I found. Some bright colored bottles...

for my glass bottle art tree!

I love mums, but I really love that bottle tree art. Did you come up with that on your own? Impressive Donna.

I love mums. Nothing says fall like those flowers. Your bottle tree is so cute. Can you leave those bottles out all winter?

Mums are beautiful, and I love their earthy fragrance.
they add a lovely splash of colour to your garden. The bottle tree is a fun idea. I've never seen that before.

Your mums look wonderful, and they added great color. I picked up a few last week, but I might not be able to resist buying a few more.

What a brilliant idea... a bottle tree. I love colored glass and never know what to do with them to make them stand out... now I know.

I enjoy your doxie pictures and stories. We used to have two mini's.. a wire haired and a smooth.

Mums in pretty pots.....perfect! Of all the ones I planted last fall to dress up the yard for Tara's Wedding, there must have been a dozen plants, only two came up this summer. I love Mums but I do not have a green thumb for over wintering them.

I love your mums...I always looks forward to mums as a sign of fall. Love the bottles too. Did you get some rain? My parents live near you and they said a storm was coming.

Have a great weekend!
