Front doors, back doors, kitchen doors, broom closet doors,
dining room doors, hallway doors, closet doors,
bedroom doors, bathroom doors, back porch doors,
doors everywhere!
I'm not complaining , I rather like having lots of doors.
Our house was built in the early 1950's and it's typical of that time period. I love the oldness of the house. Actually, all of the doors are pretty doors ~ solid wood, four panel doors. We replaced one door with a french door to open up the living room a bit. When we moved into this house ten years ago, I painted every door, not to mention all of the woodwork too!
So we live in a house with lots of doors, a small house, a cozy house, but I wouldn't change a thing....hmmmm (well, maybe, just one or two things)!

Your home really does look cozy and nice. I love it. I have never counted my doors. How interesting. I should do that. I really think you have done a great job making your house a home. I love the older charm of it as well. Yummy.
Hi Donna, I'm with you, I love oder homes and doors as well. I know today, everyone tends to lean toward the open floor plans and while they are nice and everything, I myself much prefer doors and seperate rooms.
Hi Donna. I know what you mean about doors! I am painting all the trim in our house and so I counted the doors just yesterday. We have 25 doors, not counting 3 doors to the outside! Our home was built in 1962 so we have the same doors you do. I like the character of them because they have panels, but they are much harder to paint than plain ones. Hope youhave a good day>
Hugs, Rhondi
We love our doors, too! We also use alot of old doors as displays in the store... so much fun!

This is such an interesting post. You know I always love pictures you show us of your home.
I stopped to count, and we have 35 doors. Goodness gracious! And, I probably need to wash around every doorknob. ;-)
Loved the bright clean and crisp look of the your doors and trim. Painting mine has been on my list for quite awhile ..... looks like it will stay on the bottom of the list for a bit longer :-) Rosie

I know what you mean about a small cozy house. The only trouble is mine is full and I want more room for "stuff" I don't need!
