Coffee lover

I love coffee.

I can't imagine a day without it. First thing in the morning I'll pour myself a cup (or two or three) and that usually gets me going. It's my boost for the day! Then another cup around 10:00 in the morning when I take a coffee break, a cup at noon with my lunch, a cup again around 3:00 (another coffee break and a pick me up), and a cup after dinner.

Do I drink too much coffee? Probably.

I have several coffee pots. I have a drip coffee maker which I use every morning. This one gets the most use.

An espresso/cappuccino maker for when I'm in the mood.

Another espresso maker, this one for on top of the stove.

And a french press pot.

They all make great coffee.

Having a cup of coffee sometimes can turn into one of those rituals that just makes you feel good.

So I was checking coffees on the internet the other day and guess what I found? Coffee Art! That's right.

If you click on the link below you can see for yourself. The really funny thing about this is the short film, which you can also click on to watch. I can almost see myself in the video. I might have to try some coffee art!

Of course, my all time favorite coffee is Starbucks and that's what I brew everyday. Good strong Sumatra Starbucks. Nothing like it!

I tell my husband they should make an air freshner that smells like coffee. Don't you just love the aroma when you first walk in the door of a Barnes and Noble bookstore? There's nothing better ~ books and coffee!

So have a cup of coffee today, or a cup of tea for all you tea lovers, and go out and enjoy your day!

You are the coffee queen! I love the metal stovetop ones...they make a great brew. I had to give up coffee a long time ago because of headaches...but I nab a couple of sips of James's every morning while I'm workin' on my tea.:)

How interesting about the art. Wow.

I don't drink coffee, but I sure love the smell. My in-laws bring their own coffee maker when they visit, and it fills the room with that aroma.

I hope you are enjoying your morning coffee right now on your sweet back patio, with a little bird watching you and your Otis and Riley at your feet.

Have a great day Donna.

I'm not a coffee drinker per se, but a cup sure sounds good about now. I do love the smell of freshly made coffee.

My husband drinks coffee every morning and he's a picky coffee drinker too. Only drinks pure Kona coffee from Hawaii. Brings back about a dozen packages each year or will order it online directly from Hawaii. Now that's a coffee addict!

Ah yes, I can smell it brewing now!

I had to switch to low octane. I am a terrible sleeper so i stay away from caffeine except for special occasions and then it usually has Frangelica in it, too!

I thought I was a big coffee lover, but I think you've got me beat.
The smell is the greatest. I love the timer feature on my coffee maker. Nothing better than getting that first whiff to make me want to get out of bed in the morning.

Great post Donna.

Hugs,
Kim

I so could have written this post Donna!
When my husband preps the coffee maker in the evening for the next morning and I smell the fresh coffee in there it so makes me want to turn the machine on and have one before bed - I'd never get to sleep though. LOVE IT! Have to have mine with Sugar Free Vanilla syrup and Sugar Free (liquid) Vanilla creamer. YUMMY.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Blessings,
Sandy

I am a coffee lover myself. I am a big fan of coffee art. It is all over my home. I paint old windows with coffee themes and I also make wood signs. I really enjoy reading your blog!
