In the garden

My first harvest ~ radishes and mesclun lettuce! Now I await juicy red tomatoes. The vegetable garden is doing great in this hot weather.

The butterfly bush is blooming and the flowers smell so sweet.

This little bumble bee is very happy.

Have a happy weekend!

Hi Donna! I've missed you, Otis and Riley!

Your garden looks beautiful. I would want to land there too if I were a bee.:)

Your crops are looking great.

I've always wanted a butterfly bush, but I never seem to get around to purchasing one.

Wow, how satisfying to grow your own salad! It looks great, and I'm sure it tasted great, too. :) Are you still getting a heat wave? We are getting temps in the high 90's this weekend!

How fun and rewarding! Your garden sounds yummy! Ours is slowing growing...lots of unseasonably cool weather and rain here.

Hi Donna!
I can just taste that sweet crisp home grown lettuce! My tomato plants have little green tomatoes on them...
