A perfect morning

This morning was the most perfect morning for sitting on the back porch.

The sunshine was pouring in and there was a soft breeze.

Otis was resting curled up on the chair.

I took this photo from the screened in porch looking out on the patio. There's my pink chair (the one I mentioned in the previous post).

This photo was taken while I was sitting in my pink chair having a cup of coffee. Riley likes to sit on the picnic table and watch the back yard. He's always looking for squirrels.

I love mornings like these.

What a beautiful setting to sit and watch the garden grow.....or look for squirrels! Most mornings. all I have to do is look on the back porch to see one or two raiding the bird feeder hanging from the porch :-)

Hope every morning is that peaceful for you.

~Sheila,
Yes, Riley gets up on the picnic table by himself. They both do. It's one of their favorite places to sit!

Thanks for encouraging me to sit and relax. I have dozens of plants to plant but perhaps, another cup of iced tea wouldn't be such a bad idea, after all.

That is so cute...Riley watching for squirrels. My dog would see one and fly off the table after it!
