I've been tagged for the "seven things" meme from Kate over at ourredhouse. I'm to list seven random and/or wierd things about me. Ok, here they are.
1. I've had secretarial jobs all my life. I've worked for attorneys and public defenders. I've worked for county and state probation/parole offices and I've worked at a conference center.
2. I was a majorette in high school. I twirled fire baton in parades and at football games.
3. I grew up in a small town, Mount Joy (Lancaster County) Pennsylvania, met my husband there, he entered the US Coast Guard, we married, and both of our girls were born in North Carolina while hubby was still in the service
4. My favorite flower is (actually I have two) ~ sweet peas and daisies.
5. I carry vintage cotton hankies in all of my purses and bags.
6. I collect paperweights.
7. I love a road trip.
So there you have it! I am to pass this on to seven more people, but most of the ones I was going to choose have just recently done this, so I hope you will just enjoy mine, and wishing you all a very happy day!

It is a small world. I spent 21 years in Harrisburg before I went to NE PA. My Husband's son went to Elizabethtown College. So nice to know more about you!

There's nothing strange on your list at all. When I did that meme I thought I came out looking very wierd. I love your dogs. I had dachsunds for years in my "former" life.

Hi Donna: I found you through Rhoda @Southern Hospitality. I loved reading random things about you. I see you work/worked for attorneys...that was my career. I worked in the legal field 23+ years and am somewhat "retired" from that....I only work for an atty. 2 days a week now but he wants me 4 days (we'll see). I also see from your profile you like the book "Rebecca". I LOVE that book! I am going to look for my copy tomorrow and start reading it again, it's been a while since I read it. Hi Donna! I'm glad you stopped by my blog. We share more in common than living in NC. I have had secretarial jobs all my life, too. I didn't twirl fire batons but I was a majorette for a few years :o) I think I still have scars from the blisters - to prove it. And, I grew up in Maryland - not far from Lancaster Co.
