Otis is posing for a new painting.

I'm starting a new pet portrait today ~ and I should have it finished in a few days. I have painted portraits of both Otis and Riley before, and you can see them on my Pet Portrait blog.

My inspiration comes from both of them, and they are always happy to oblige.

I was recently commissioned to do a painting of this beautiful Lab/Border Collie. His name is Nelson.

He's such a handsome boy, don't you think? And I was told he loves the great outdoors. I'm not surprised. Nelson looks like the outdoor type.

A pet portrait
