A pet painting

I was recently commissioned to do a painting of a dog named Ginger.  Isn't she pretty?

Ginger is no longer with us, you see, she has gone to doggy heaven. I was told that she loved to give lots of kisses and loved to play with her red ball.

Jenn said she wanted to give this painting as a gift to her mother.  She said her mother misses Ginger so much and she thought a painting of Ginger will cheer her.

I hope it did just that.

Ginger is a beautiful dog and was a joy to paint.
