To blog or not to blog

Hello my dear friends, I'm back.  I know....it's been awhile.  I have been trying to decide whether I want to continue blogging or not to blog at all.  Ever feel that way?  I don't have very many creative projects left to share anymore as I did when I first started back in 2007, but I still like to come here and read and browse and see what all has happened in the years past.  Time changes, our lives change.  We get older.

You will probably find me from time to time putting my thoughts down here and to say hello.  Otis and I are doing well.

Until then...

How nice to see your post. One thing about blogging is that you really only have to satisfy yourself and post when you want. At least that is how I try to think of it. It isn't always possible to have some amazing thing to write or talk about. Just post when you feel like it, we will all be very happy when you do. I love the photo of you and Otis ~ very cute!

I can understand, Donna. I think you'll still be encouraged to share here from time to time. In the meantime, enjoy life! I'll see you on facebook.

I'm the same as you. Blogging was my gardening journal once. Now I prefer using Twitter and Facebook to keep in touch with others and forgoing going blog posts. There are just so many hours in the day so prioritizing resulting in cutting blogging. But I do enjoy checking in with you and glad to know you are well.

So nice to see your post, Donna. You have been missed. It seems like a lot of people are making the decision to quit blogging or blog less often. I'm secretly hoping that you decide "to blog" :D. Yours was among the first blogs I started reading and it was always such a pleasure to visit you and see what was new at your cottage and in your garden. Having said that, I don't mean to place any pressure on you. I know that you will make the decision that is right for you.

I think with the advent of FB, bloggers have jumped ship. Sad to see but there it is.
I started blogging in '07 and guess I will 'till the bitter end...
Happy you are doing well and would miss your "doings" should you decide to be done with it...

Glad Ottis is well...oh, you too. There's no reason you have to post everyday or every week unless you're making money on your blog or maybe you're making changes and wish to share. And yes your right about the years we spent posting and reading other blogs...well I just can't do it as often. Also my garden is pretty much completed except now I have 2 little dogs who decided to make changes for me and I will do some posts on that.

Time off is a good thing - and sometimes the best posts are the ones without a large 'project'. A few thoughts now and again are often my favourite sort of post to read.
