Welcome spring

finally...
spring has sprung and we've been basking in the warm sunshine here in the south, temps have reached into the mid 80's this week.  I am hoping the gray days of winter are now over and gone.
My new red Jolly Clogs came in the mail last week just in time for some spring gardening.  I am loving these new clogs.  The last pair of Jollys I had lasted over ten years.

So I've been digging in the dirt.  It's always great therapy being in the garden, something I've really been needing lately, since the last few weeks I've been feeling out of sorts...thinking post breast cancer thoughts, I guess, and not very happy, trying to stay positive and letting go of last year.  Maybe it was just the bad weather.

Things seem better now and sunny days ahead.  Otis and Riley are loving this warm weather too!

Sunshine, flowers and warm weather
can do absolute wonders for the soul.

So glad to see your post, Donna.
I was just thinking about you and hoping that all was well.
Our winter did seem to hang on later than usual here this year. I hope some gardening time in your cute new clogs will be just the ticket to make you feel better.
Hugs.

Glad you are feeling better. The weather has been beautiful here. I just bought some tomato plants, lettuce plants and some herbs.

It is great that you can get back into the garden, it is the most healing place both for the body and the soul. Your red clogs are so happy and adorable...I just wear old sneakers, maybe I need a pair of clogs like yours. (-:

It is so true that a garden is a healing place.I am sure after a few days with your babies out in the garden will have you good as new. I have loved being out in mine after not being able to get out last year.

I love the clogs! I have a pair of yellow ones that are still in excellent shape after twelve years, but the colour isn't what it could be. How I'd love a pair of cheery red ones - must go on the hunt!
You had a hard year, and you came through it. I think it must be natural to have regrets and resentment about it all. It was a HARD THING but there you are, in your garden again. Alleluia!

Isn't that the truth! We'll be planting in about a month. Still too cold and frosty here. Can not wait...Mimi

Hi,
When you've been through what you've been through, remembering thoughts will often creep back into your thinking. We all experience this...even if it isn't about our health. The best medicine is to get to work doing something that you enjoy. Gardening is such a wonderful therapy. You are out in God's world...doing what you love and wearing a bright new pair of shoes. Life is good... Have a wonderful weekend...Balisha

Gardening and just being in the garden is absolutely the best therapy for me. I hope that you are feeling well today. I understand some of what you are going through. I am a cancer patient and spent most of yesterday having chemo. But today is beautiful, and I plan to spend some time just sitting in the garden and enjoying nature!
