The back porch

There's nothing special about our back porch.  It's old ....it's screened-in, there might be a cobweb or two in the corners,  often times it's dusty, it's where I store my garden tools, and my garden shoes, and the bird feed,

but

 it's also....

comfy,

it's a place to
rest,

and think,

sit quietly,

read,

meditate,

dream,

and enjoy nature.

The simple pleasures of the back porch.

PS:  Update on my chemo treatments.  Yesterday's chemo # 7 was cancelled because of my neuropathy.  Precautionary measure.  I'm now on some new medication for that.  So I will have a few good days until next Thursday's treatment (#7).  Yay!

Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Yah! It's nice to be able to catch your breath before the next treatment. I love your porch, and I love your doves. I think they know the best places to call home.

Have a lovely weekend.

To me, old porches are the best. My grandmother had an old house with an old porch and it was always the most inviting spot. She had pots of hens and chicks and moss rose, old metal chairs and a swing. We all loved it.
I like your wicker chair with the cute pillows and the bushel basket for your plant. Enjoy your "old" porch, and Yay for the good days.

Babs

I hope the neuropathy improves. And, a little reprieve should help.

I can't resist a porch either. They are a place to enjoy life.
