Autumn Joy

I'm planting Autumn Joy Sedum and Apricot Delight Yarrow today. The weather is absolutely bee-u-ti-ful!

And in the veggie garden ~ broccoli and cauliflower.

I'm anxious to see how your broccoli and cauliflower do. Have you planted it in the Fall before? I have a butterfly bush that needs to go in the ground, and a couple of Cedar seedlings that I want to plant. I've been gathering Zinnia and Marigold blooms to save for seed. You asked about the pups...Marlee is fine. Bayley is okay too BUT he has some serious, expensive allergy issues. He's allergic to the bacteria on his skin, he scratches, it turns into staf infection. We are going to be trying an injection of something that I can't even pronounce. We'll just have to wait and see if he tolerates it or not. *sigh* He's as lovable as ever, tho. :D Hugs to you, Otis and Riley

It's so nice to have fresh veggies fom your garden, Donna! I love both broccoli and cauliflower.

It cooled down quite a bit here today ..it finally feels like autumn!

Enjoy the rest of the weekend :)

Please keep us up-to-date on your broccoli! I've only been growing it for a couple of years. I was considering a Fall crop this year...but the Summer plants have been producing so beautifully...and I thought "why bother?"...so I didn't!

Donna, I love Autumn Sedums-they are so beautiful this time of year. I planted some mums yesterday and they look so nice in the black urns on the front porch. The weather yesterday was just gorgeous!
