Happy Friday, everyone! I love hearing the birds chirping first thing in the morning. We were able to open the windows last night before going to bed and I woke this morning to the music of the birds and a soft cool breeze coming in the bedroom window. Just perfect! Outside by the back porch and patio area the nandina berries are putting on a beautiful show. You can tell fall is coming by the rich rusty red color of these berries. Aren't they pretty? I'll definitely be bringing some of these inside for my fall decorations!
We will be visiting a local winery tomorrow for a wine tasting with my daughter and son-in-law and then on Sunday getting together with family and a cousin from PA that I haven't seen in a long time.

It has been horribly hot here the past week but it is cooling off for the weekend...this means I can get out into the garden. Hooray!
