Copper adds warmth to a kitchen

Use copper in your kitchen and you instantly have a rustic country feel. I love copper and I was thrilled to find this little copper bucket (above) for 89 cents at a thrift store over the weekend. I thought it was perfect to hold measuring spoons and some kitchen utensils.

Having red walls in our kitchen, the copper is a nice accent. I cook with my copper pots and pans that are hanging over my stove. I also like to decorate with copper pitchers and platters displaying them on shelves and hanging pieces on my kitchen walls.

Loving that warm glow.

I too love decorating my kitchen with copper. I use all my copper pots and pans and don't worry abut their "patina", as a matter of fact I never polish them all at the same time. To me that looks too much like a "staged" look and it makes it OK to polish one or two at a time instead of spending hours with the Twinkle :)

Love that country look.

I look at your rooster everyday...but it still hasn't found a home. I even tried hanging it on the front door but it wouldn't stay straight.
Crazy huh ?
