An abundant harvest

Tomato sauce, tomato soup, tomato salads, fried tomatoes, tomato sandwiches......

next year we plant way less tomatoes.

Today, however, I am thankful for the tomatoes.

I was just saying to my girlfriend that I haven't had that first fresh tomato of the season. A tomato and mayo sandwich sounds so yummy. Roll some up my way, would ya?

What lovely tomatoes...mine are just getting ready for picking, I got them planted a little late. I have tons of cherry tomatoes though. Have a great day.(-:

Oh Donna! Look at that beautiful bounty! That is where I was with zucchini these last few weeks. They are slowing down and the tomatoes are turning red but not quite ready for picking!

Hi Donna-

Oh those tomatoes look divine. We didn't plant any this year and I am not sure why. I am going to miss them. I like to coat them in flour and fry them in butter with salt and pepper - Yummo. A slice or two on a hamburger is right up my alley too.
Enjoy them.

Your tomatoes look delicious! Right now I wish I had a green house as here in Australia the price has sky rocketed. I too had an abundance last year so I dried some in the oven, like sundried tomatoes, and then froze them. I am enjoying them now though! thanks for visiting today! take care, Maryann
