The veggie plot

I am thrilled with the way the veggie garden is growing this year. Our veggie plot is not that big, ~ we have three raised beds and some pots filled with plants.

These are the Super Sweet 100 (cherry tomatoes) just starting to ripen.

Big Boy tomatoes. I planted six of these.

Cucumbers.

An abundance of squash from two plants.

Potatoes popping out of the ground. This is the first year we planted potatoes and I can't believe how many we're going to have.

I had to show you my dill. It towers over the garden and smells so good.

And lots of delicious lettuce that we've been eating in salads and sandwiches.

Lovin' all the veggies!

What an excellent-sized plot you have there! A person could manage this practically on a balcony. I kept thinking I didn't have room. You've proved me wrong!

I can't wait until harvest time! Around here it's still a bit away but that's ok.

Your garden looks fabulous... and pretty.

What a beautiful veggie garden, Donna!! Could you send Galen over to help me get some raised beds started. :) Oh, and would you ask him to bring some goodies from your garden...

Wish I had a place to plant veggies. There's too much shade in my backyard. Your garden looks beautiful!

I'm trying to keep things watered here in Texas but there's such a drought going on it's difficult!

Nothing better than having fresh vegetables from your own garden! Love your dovecote. I've been asking the mister for one for years...lucky you. Mimi

Your garden is so prolific, Donna! I can't believe you already have red tomatoes! Please tell me you are battering and frying those zucchini blossoms...they are so good prepared that way!

Donna,

Looking at your potatoes I wondered if you have concerns about them turning green, being exposed to the sunlight?
