Daylilies and a mourning dove

My bright yellow daylilies light up the garden like sunshine.

And look who's hiding on the top of the pergola ~ one of the young baby doves that came to live here at Mourning Dove Cottage.

Isn't he cute?

Hope you're enjoying your day!

I saw a mourning dove on the roof the other day. Which is where they'd better stay. They're kind of slow birds, and Clyde is not a youngster, but has killed two mockingbirds this week, darned him.

I have a few day lilies too. They're just now starting to bloom. Love your garden face you made out of grout! That's just so creative. Mimi
