My purple bearded irises that were growing in the garden were so tall they all fell over and were lying on the ground ~ poor things. Rather then try to stand them up, I picked a whole arm full and brought them inside and put them in a pretty blue and white pottery pitcher. Now I can enjoy them whenever I walk in the dining room.
Enjoy your day!

Oh, they are soooo beautiful!! Randy and I just returned from a week-long trip to San Francisco, CA, and I was so afraid all of mine would be bloomed out and finished before I got back---but they are in full bloom and oh so GORGEOUS! I get the feeling that you love Irises in the same way that I do. :) I can smell them through the computer. :)
Donna, what a beautiful bouquet! My deep purple bearded iris' are blooming now and the light peach ones are ready to bloom!
The dark purple were my Dads Favorite!

Gorgeous Donna! Ours are still popping out of the ground...about 7" high now.....it will be a while before we see blooms like those :) Enjoy them for us!
Donna, they are exquisite. I have some irises that I need to cut and bring in, too.
Beautiful
Excellent idea!

These are lovely. One of my favorite iris is one called 'Granies Purple', it is an old variety and so dependable. They are wonderful plants.
They're gorgeous! Love irises. Mimi
How beautiful Donna!

Don't they smell heavenly? I hate to see flowers lying on the ground after a hard rain or wind.I sometimes go out a pick a bouquet before the storm to enjoy in the house. Balisha
Beautiful bouquet Donna...Love Irises. Mine will bloom next month here in NY. I always have to stake mine too or they fall over. Just lovely...do I sense a painting coming on soon...irises perhaps?? Have a creative and sunny weekend.
