Lovely white

White can be beautiful in spring....

and I love this flowering tree that blooms every spring in our garden with delicate white flowers.
Can someone identify it for me? The flowers have no fragrance, but the beauty makes up for it.

A lovely white canopy in the garden.

What a beautiful tree, but I have no idea what it is...have you tried taking a branch to your local plant nursery? Maybe they can name it for you.

That is really lovely, Donna! It will be May before we see prettiness like that here!

Oh how beuatiful.;) Is it an evergreen? If so, to me it looks like some type of a magnolia tree.;)
Hope you will find out - and enjoy its bloom for now.;) It will take another month before trees bloom here.;)

Beautiful! We are having freezing temps again and the rest of the week doesn't look much better. Hope my weeping cherry tree blossoms make it.

It resembles the northern "flowering pear tree"... it might be another type of flowering tree maybe, but just as lovely.
