.....when I found out I was the lucky winner of a fabulous giveaway that Penny of The Comforts of Home had recently! The giveaway was in celebration of her 650 followers. If you don't already know Penny you must visit her wonderful blog. She shares her beautiful home, gardening, cooking and inspiration for a comfortable life. She is also a mosaic artist and owner of an online boutique called Lavender Hill Studio.
When the box arrived I carried it to the back patio and opened it there. I already had a few things unwrapped (I was so excited) and went and grabbed my camera. As you can see everything was wrapped in pretty lavender paper.
Here are the things I won. A zinc flower bucket (or sap bucket~ love it!), a vintage glove (which I shall hang my pearls on), a vintage aqua Ball canning jar with a zinc and glass lid (love it!), a metal bird nest candle holder (so cute!), a vintage glass and silver shaker for dusting powder (beautiful!). She also tucked in a packet of Parisian Essence of Jasmine and Roses Laundry Powder.
Also, this lovely Vintage 1959 book called Love and the French. Isn't it beautiful!
