One can never have too many books.
Yesterday when I was cleaning, I decided to line the top of the desk in the study with books. The room already has a lot of books, in the tall book shelf in the corner and others scattered here and there, why not a few more on top of the desk?
And, as I sit here today at the desk doing some paperwork, I realize how happy I am to be surrounded by books!
Books are the most quietest and most constant of friends;
they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors,
and the most patient of teachers.
