A pear tray

This is the time of year when I think pears.

Enjoyable to eat...

and fun to paint!

As you know, DH has been making a lot of wooden trays in the shop lately and I've been coming up with all kinds of ideas to paint on them.

Each tray is hand crafted in the woodshop, then hand painted, and lastly, given two pretty metal handles. These handles are in a leaf design.

Use them for decorating, or use them for serving.

A piece of art that's functional!

(It's listed in my etsy shop, and you can buy it here.)

Hugs,

Donna

It's lovely Donna. I love the contrast against the dark background.
