Seven Layer Salad

A Fourth of July favorite

for your cookout or family get-togethers.






A yummy salad to serve.....and so easy to prepare.



Seven Layer Salad

Layer
1 head lettuce
4 hard cooked eggs
10 oz bag frozen peas
1/2 cup green peper
1 medium onion
1 cup grated carrots
8 slices bacon


Mix and spread over top of salad:
2 cups mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sugar


Top with 4 oz. medium/sharp grated cheese

When the kids were home I'd make this recipe. Haven't for awhile. Thanks for reminding me perfect on a warm day. Your day lilies are beautiful. The live ones and the painting. So is the crape myrtle. I wonder if they'd grow here? I'll check it out. Mimi
