It's given me time to catch up on some reading.
This morning I brewed a fresh pot of coffee and headed for my comfy spot on the sofa and opened my book to where I last left off.
The book I'm reading is "At Home on Ladybug Farm" by Donna Ball. It's about three very different women buying an old mansion in the Shenandoah Valley and their dream to renovate it and start a new life for themselves.
It's a really good book, and one of a series.
Another book I like to read in the mornings is Simple Abundance. This book was given to me by my dearest hubby many years ago and I'm still enjoying it. One lesson for each day of the year.

I'm kind of grateful for the horrid heat. Because I've been doing the same thing. Reading more. And I miss reading. That sounds so cozy. Curling up with a good book and a pot of coffee. Wish I could join you!

Hi Donna...I just picked up the Simple Abundance book at our local book sale...how funny to see you have it as well because I don't think it's a new book...it looks wonderful...and you might like reading Mary Kay Andrews.."The Fixer Upper"....about rehabing an old house down South...her books are very entertaining...she also goes by the name Kathy Hogan Trocheck....Hope your weekend is going well...
I also love Simple Abundance! I've been reading a lot more this summer because of needing to stay in the air conditioning. I don't mind heat but humidity is not my friend..lol!
I have to get those books. I'm a bookaholic, and that looks like one that I would really enjoy. Thanks for sharing the title with us.
Donna, I have read Ladybug Farm and I love that book....I wish she would write another I would love to see how the women are doing.....
Read Simple Abundance years ago and still refer to it......good information....
