I spent the last week in upstate NY and it was in the 80's. Arrived home today in the mountains of NC and the high was 96! My poor garden is looking pretty sad. We had hoped it would rain while we were gone and it didn't. Hopefully we can water it and bring it back to life.
Donna, stay cool! It was pretty hot here yesterday too! When you walked out of any air conditioned building you were just hit with a wave of heat! Drink lots of water!
heat index here has been in the hundreds, too. Bill caught a fish and it was warm! I dug in a flower pot after supper and the dirt was really warm! hugs, kerrie
